photo of a sweater i knit is featured on ravelry

i was asked to have a photo of mine featured on ravelry. i’m happy to share it. it’s a photo of the debbie bliss boat sweater, which i knit last year (oops, edit. it was earlier this year!)…

the pattern can be downloaded for free here or through ravelry if you are a member.

for those not on ravelry, it’s a wonderful site full of knitting and crochet patterns (many free, and the paid ones are usually less than $5 and help support designers). i use it as a way to keep track of all my finished projects (like those socks) and plan my next ones. there is also a very active online community and forums. if you have a stash problem, you can get all martha and use their tool to track your inventory. and you can add your fiber lovin’ friends (i just realized that sounds like i’m talking about metamucil. i mean yarn.) and some of your favourite designers to your list and see what they’re working on. yarn harlot, annie modesitt, ysolda teague, just to name a few.  lots of inspiration there.

if you are on ravelry, you can add me. my username is iMadeItSo. (don’t look so shocked.)

Are you sure knitted isn’t a word?

I remember when you knit it, too. Does it reside on a teddy bear now?

Congrats on being featured on Ravelry, the sweater is beautiful! Ravelry really is a great site. I have not clicked my needles for a long time and lately that is all I see at the thrift: Needles, yarn and books!
