this is long overdue!

and a little rambly.

you may have seen a certain googiemomma in my comments. she is a blogger and an accomplished seamstress (sew-er? sewist? well, she sews. and is really quite good.), creative type and also a friend… of the imaginary online kind. which is a really wonderful kind. and i’m not just saying that because i don’t have to, you know, brush my hair and such before chatting with this sort of online friend. skype had to come along and ruin that whole thing!

googiemomma, as the name implies, is a mom of 4 plus another on the way, so i’m really not sure how she manages to juggle it all, including an online business. she had a giveaway on her blog the other day week month. told you this was a smidge overdue.

although her selection process was a little sketchy (most choose winners by random number generators, but googie? nope. she’s a bit of a rebel that way — and i think we have the same blog philosophy in common: “it’s my blog and i’ll do what i want to” [insert sticking out tongue smilie here]), i’m not going to complain because I WON! [insert sticking out tongue smilie here]

i’m a sucker for nice packaging. and yes, they did call me ana banana…

alright, i have no idea who these people are on the card…

but they look a little like women flexing their toddler-toting muscles, which i think is entirely appropriate. i am mama, hear me roar.

(alright, a couple of them look like they are in french maid outfits, but that’s not really part of my daydream, unless they’re here to clean my house. then yes please! “i am tired, hear me snore, the mop is in the closet, thanks….”)

she made me a leather clutch, of her own design.
