archive dive

short and sweet this week (just like me! ha), let’s just dive right in. if you’re new here, look up an old blog post in your archives that relates to this week’s topic. creative interpretations always welcome. share your link. visit others. have fun! <– i feel a bit strange saying that. like i’m commanding you to have fun. *cracks whip*

oh Ana, you have so totally made my Friday afternoon. Yes Ma’am, I will go have fun – right now as a matter of a fact. I am shutting up assignment shop right now! *foomp* (the closing of the books sound lol). Now onto your archive dive, *quiver* and *shake*, I must admit something to you here and now, although I do suspect you already know this. I have been a long time lurker of your archive dive, I love it, I love what you come up with, however, not yet participated in it. I do hope you don’t mind, but I love a sticky beak into other blogs from it. I can’t wait to see what others come up with from their archives, I hope you don’t mind my lurking a little more if that’s ok. I might even find something to add from my own oldies. Thanks so much for posting this each week, thanks so much for your lovely inspirations and thank you for making me smile!!

are you kidding? of course i don’t mind. no one ever MUST participate *puts whip away*…. and you’re not alone. there are plenty of readers, bloggers and non-bloggers, who read these archives as they come rolling in over the weekend. i’m glad you enjoy it!

  3. Well, I’m not feeling very creative at the moment (as it is the time time of night when all I can think of is hopping in bed with my giant book) so I got QUITE literal with the whole ‘woolly’ theme! I’m excited to see what other people share! :)

  4. i demanded er i mean, requested two skeins of my beautiful araucania ranco multy yarn be brought in to me during my recent two week improntu holiday and found out two things – that my husband is not good at holding a skein whilst it is unravelled (i did the second round my feet) and that i don’t know what possessed me to contemplate a whole cardigan in 4ply. it was going to be to my own design and i got two and a bit little squares done and then the novelty wore off! the yarn however is still lovely – i might still the remaining skeins in a jar and call them art. ;D

Well, it’s not exactly wooly. But taken in the manner that in some countries yarn is wool, no matter the content, I’m submitting my post. Lol. Fridays are for creative interpretation maybe?

  6. Jane says:

Love this topic, as I just learned to knit this past month. I have absolutely nothing to submit from my own blog, but I’m excited to read others posts. I need some woolly inspiration. :-)

    Hello Sweet Ana ~
I did it…made a blogpost (mothers may read that a different way perhaps ;)…
what used to be so joyful is now a lot more challenging it seems…
    just gathering my thoughts even…
thank you for your visits and uplifting words dear one!
Wait until you see my heart …that a friend made

Hee hee, great topic! I wasn’t sure how I would fulfill this one, but then I was inspired. :) ps I think I’ve mentioned it before, but I love these archive dives! Wonderful idea.

Taking an ‘archive dive’ around the blog for something woolly make me realize it’s been two years since I completed a sweater! Eek! Far too long! Where does the time go?
Thanks for this great topic Ana! :)

    • imadeitso says:

Squeaked in JUST under the deadline . . . this wasn’t an archive dive but a special post written just for the topic. Thanks for the inspiration, Ana! And I love the other entries . . . you have such a wonderful collection of admirers.
