I have been a long time lurker of your archive dive, I love it, I love what you come up with, however, not yet participated in it. Well, I’m not feeling very creative at the moment (as it is the time time of night when all I can think of is hopping in bed with my giant book) so I got QUITE literal with the whole ‘woolly’ theme! I’m excited to see what other people share! :)

I’m currently reading Wally Lamb’s ‘The Hour I First Believed’. I’m not too far into it, but like his other (giant) works of fiction, I was hooked from the first page!
oh yes… i’ve read that. heavy subject matter, but really well written.
i demanded er i mean, requested two skeins of my beautiful araucania ranco multy yarn be brought in to me during my recent two week improntu holiday and found out two things – that my husband is not good at holding a skein whilst it is unravelled (i did the second round my feet) and that i don’t know what possessed me to contemplate a whole cardigan in 4ply. it was going to be to my own design and i got two and a bit little squares done and then the novelty wore off! the yarn however is still lovely – i might still the remaining skeins in a jar and call them art. ;D
i meant stick then in a jar! (sigh)
ugh yes… i’m working on a little sweater, but i’m using relatively fine yarn and i swear at times i feel like i must be knitting into the abyss. the black hole of knitting. progress is slow-mo. but i haven’t given up, yet.
the yarn sounds gorgeous.
Well, it’s not exactly wooly. But taken in the manner that in some countries yarn is wool, no matter the content, I’m submitting my post. Lol. Fridays are for creative interpretation maybe?
