it’s hard to stay wordless sometimes. there’s a story behind the wordless wednesday post from yesterday.
i’ve been out in the garden again. raking. so much raking. the old pine tree sheds quite a bit of its needles over the winter.
as i was raking, i found a volunteer…
you know, one of those plants that shows up uninvited, but welcome nonetheless. last year, it was a strawberry plant…
i was going to transplant the purple crocus to a different spot, but before i could, the boys had built a rock garden around it.
and so it stays. smack dab in the middle of the lawn. one less spot to rake.
What a delightful pebble circle :-)
They are my favourite kind of ornament …..I have collections of them all over my house.

hi tara, i love that! i often see things in those ways too. or look at book cover art and wonder what the writer really felt about it. they often don’t have much choice in it right? (but you did!)

That is amazingly cute. I can’t wait to dig outside. The weather has been so cold. In fact it’s snowing right now. Crazy Utah weather.
it’s been up and down here too. though, i’m kind of excited that that there is no snow and we might be able to have an egg hunt *gasp!* outdoors this year! (i’ve probably gone and jinxed it now.)
