i loosely followed a youtube tutorial on chinese brush painting. brush painting is not quite the same thing as brush pens; you can’t dilute the pen’s ink for one thing, but it gave me some tips to work with…

    What kind of brush pen are you using? A real brush or a felt-tip pen? I recently got a Pentel Pocket brush pen and looooove it. It’s much more responsive than a felt tip (like COPIC or PITT brush pen).

      hi estivalia, the brush pen i’m using is the one seen here. i’m not sure of the brand, it’s a japanese one (i can’t read the characters). it is not a felt-tip.
