I had a hard time picking a link to share with the subject of ‘away’ … I don’t get away very often, and if I do, it’s usually only a few hours distance from my home. I daydream about taking a trip to Paris or Denmark or Iceland or even P.E.I. & the Yukon. However, I am a terrible traveler. Travel and I don’t get along. So, I daydream. One day, though, perhaps I’ll be a traveler again and go beyond my borders.

I’ve been thinking a lot about getting away, too. Been planning a post on “thrifty adventure” but I’m trying to make it just right! In the meantime, I take weekend trips to neighboring cities. I’m going back to St. Augustine this weekend with a cooler of beer and snacks to hit up my favorite thrift spots- and some new ones, too!

I hope you get away soon, those thoughts are often on my mind! I linked to my recent weekend thrift adventure where I checked out some thrifts and a record store.
