gotta love happy mail.
thank you christine, for the package of note paper and tiny stamps. i’ve used the stamps a few times already, and the little parcel you sent reaffirms my belief about good things and small packages.
you can visit christine’s blog, origami mommy. christine is a freelance writer and published author of two books (the diaper-free baby and origami suncatchers), and a mother of four. her blog is a quiet and thoughtful place that i like to visit. thanks for that too, christine.
thank you camille, for the sewing patterns, old and new. i was going to make the school days coat out of that merrimeko fabric but i am about half a yard too short. well, no, i’m not half a yard too short (debatable perhaps), the fabric is, but you know what i mean…
camille is a talented seamstress, her quilts make you want to cuddle up with a cup of tea and read a book. she makes adorable clothing for her little ones. cute floppy eared stuffies who have equally cute little outfits. she recently learned how to knit too. and she makes it all look effortless. sickening right? ;-)
she shares her creative knowledge with photo tutorials, so really, you can’t help but like her. have you ever done a step-by-step photo tutorial? those things take forever and i’m always grateful for bloggers who share so much of their time and talents.
camille also sent that vintage card you see up top. she so gets me :-) thank you camille!
