it’s a chestnut crushing clog. of course!

    Oh how weird! I was actually thinking this morning I’d use it for crushing something but I was imagining something more gruesome.

    yeah, i was thinking something way more…terrible. we went to the hohensalzberg castle which houses some interesting museums (including a marionette museum) and they had a whole section of odd looking torture devices…these shoes would have fit in perfectly there.

  7. who would have thought it? not me for one. i knew it couldn’t have been an ice shoe because if you managed to get that into the ice you’d never have got it out again! however I couldn’t think of anything else amusing or otherwise. ;D
