a quick little birthday cake

well, time went by at warp speed this weekend. i didn’t get everything made that i wanted to, but there was a homemade birthday cake (though not as involved as last time), courtesy of a scuba-diving playmobil guy…

chocolate cake, lemon filling, light whipped cream icing,

chocolate goldfish, confetti and sprinkles…

hope your week is off to a good start. i’ll be taking down streamers and popping balloons discreetly (when the kids aren’t looking).

  7. Ana, this is so creative! I’ve used toys on cakes before too but you really made this special. All I did was buy a cake and plop a couple of My Little Ponies on top! :)
