i’m trying to decide what was more fun… walking through the aisles of the bulk food store and picking out the bits of candy for decorating? or getting messy and making these little characters? maybe it was the kids’ reaction to them. they knew exactly what these were when they saw them …
(though i think they might be too young to know the marx brothers).
materials used | homemade cupcakes iced and dipped into coloured sprinkles, with various candies including licorice, candy corn, jujubes, gummies, marshmallow and chocolate chips. if you’ve made or will make these, send me a photo, i’d love to see!

i used to think that bert looked like my granddad! i also think the smaller red bird doesn’t look so much angry as constipated. ;D i’m also left wondering why a leaflet that clearly states ‘angry birds’ includes a green pig! that said they are really cutely funny.
