so the uneven mitts are fixed. in record time, too. i tend to leave wonky projects in the wonky pile to be de-wonked at a time when i’m feeling less stabby about it all.
so i must have missed a few rows in the pattern somehow. i unraveled back to where the taper begins and re-knit them. perfect. now i’ll block them to even up the stitches and shape the top part a bit. and having fixed this now, i can cast on my next project without any guilt. apologies if it’s a bit of déjà vu… i loved working with this pattern (despite the glitch, all my own doing by the way) and i want a pair of these for myself.
I would like a pair for myself, too. And they’ll have to be white or cream. I don’t think they would be as pretty in a dark color.
thanks beth. i browsed through all the colours of this project on ravelry before starting. they’re all really pretty, but it’s true, every colour gives it a different feel.

Good for you, getting mitt two straightened out so quickly. Redoing is such a turnoff. They’re beautiful.
