this week, i went to a lovely little spot in a lovely little town. an old stone house filled with a solid selection of woolly goods. julie, the owner, was helpful and friendly. mary ann (knitwear designer who recently had her work published in interweave –woot!) took me to this little gem of a place tucked away in ancaster, ontario. thanks mary ann!

and by reasonable, i mean, i could have gotten a lot more but showed restraint. i’ll save the rest for my next visit. a perfect excuse for another road trip on an autumn day.
Did the sign in any way influence your choice of colors?
hah! i did not notice that. maybe it did influence me subliminally. i love earthy tones so… maybe that had something to do with it. isn’t the shop sign sweet?
