voila voile scarf

i received a diy scarf kit as a gift. it’s a lovely little idea, a piece of pretty voile fabric that just needed to be hemmed.

so i’m not sure why it sat there for over a year, unmade.

i finally got to sewing those straight lines. a satisfying and quick little project.

voile, by the way, is from the french for “veil” and is a thin sheer fabric. in this case, 100% cotton. light and airy.
